There is very little weather that will keep our family from travelling.
Whenever we get the opportunity, we go on vacation. We generally like going to old historic areas. This year, we wanted to take a vacation where it was warm and sunny. Although spring would soon be arriving in our area, it was still frigid. We wanted to head south and find someplace that had some warmth and maybe learn something about the history of our country. We set the thermostat down to fifty, just high enough to keep our pipes from freezing. We figured it didn’t need to stay warm in the house if we weren’t there. Right before we left, we had a new Smart Thermostat installed in the house. I loved the idea that we could use our tablet or phones and be able to change the temperature on the thermostat from anywhere we were. I really liked this idea when we heard about it. If we heard there was the possibility of extreme weather, we could always keep track of whether our furnace was still working well. If something were wrong, we could contact the HVAC company and they would arrive even if we weren’t at home. On the other hand, when we were on our way home,. About an hour before we arrived, we would be able to turn up the temperature whether it is for heating or air conditioning, and the house would be comfortable for our arrival. The Smart Thermostat is one of the best purchases we have ever made. It has really saved us a wealth of peace while travelling.
