I purchased a home without air conditioning.

It didn’t take long for me to find the home of our dreams when I finally began the search.

  • I was eager to have a lake house of our own, but I was not willing to settle for anything less than what I dreamed of.

Even before going into the house, I was sure it was going to be mine. It was the perfect gingerbread house. It was on the smaller side, however it was just right for one or multiple people, and I was the only person moving in. Once I got into the house, our ownership was imminent. The only stigma on the home was that it didn’t have air conditioning. The heating plan had recently been upgraded, and I knew I was in our home. I was going to need to face the complication of no air conditioning when I was finally living in the house. Two months later, I was finally moving into our home. Summer was suddenly taking over, and I could feel the heat invading our home. There were no trees around our lake house to keep it shaded and cooler, and that had to be remedied. I called the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C business to get an estimate on the replacement of an air conditioning unit. I then called the landscapers to have some pine trees strategically place around the property to supply me the most shade. I couldn’t feel how suddenly the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C serviceman arrived. He told me which air conditioning he thought would be best and then he did measurements. I wanted an A/C component that would be energy efficient and still able to cool our home. It didn’t take long to have our trees planted, or the air conditioning component installed.
