My dog chewed up my air conditioner.
I really have no idea how she managed to chew the air conditioner up in such a short period of time.
I left her alone in the house for less than an hour, and she had the air conditioner all chewed up. She chewed the cord in several places, she chewed the rubber sealing around the air conditioner, and she even chewed part of the front of the air conditioner. It was amazing. She is a huge dog, so I am not surprised that she was able to chew through the cord, but I was amazed that she did it so quickly. I should never have left her alone in the house obviously, but it was sort of an emergency. My neighbor had fallen, and she needed my help. I thought for sure my dog would have chewed up something like a shoe while I was gone, but I never expected her to have chewed up my air conditioner. I was so upset. My air conditioner is done for now. I am going to have to buy a new air conditioner today, and I am not looking forward to it. Air conditioners aren’t cheap, and I am sort of afraid that my dog will try to chew my new one up too. I try to watch her all of the time, but every once in a while, I get distracted and she tries to chew something up. Hopefully, it won’t be my air conditioner again. If she does try to chew my new air conditioner, I may have to put a gate up to keep her from getting into the living room.
