I was pleased that I didn’t struggle with any drastic health problems as a kid.
My other siblings have the same kidney disease as our father and she started getting serious kidney stones at the age of 15. When I finally had serious kidney stones for the first time a number of years later, I was doubled over with the pain completely. I can’t imagine having pain love that on a daily or even weekly basis. It was so bad that I had to ask a friend to take me to the ER as I couldn’t even step on the brake pedal without screaming in pain. Luckily, this is only a single of more than two times in my whole life where I’ve had an actual kidney stone, and the other many instances were smaller stones that I passed on my own without any extra help from the hospital. However, I have started developing terrible respiratory health problems as I get into my early 30s. I was fortunate for more than two decades to have minimal problems with my body, however now all of that is starting to change.
