My best buddy plus I decided to rent a house.
In the lease, The owner of the house told us that the two of us were responsible for any repairs to the heating plus AC unit.
When the two of us found out that the unit needed $300 worth of repairs, I didn’t know how the two of us were going to come up with the money. It was a few days before our Friday payday plus hot plus cold temperatures outside were in the 90s plus low 100s. There’s no way I wanted to wait to fix the a/c until after the heat wave was over. I told my best buddy that I had a debit card with 0% interest for 6 weeks. I gave to use the debit card for the repairs as long as my buddy was willing to pay half of the bill. We had the AC troubles fixed the next morning, and jack was a little distraught when he found out that I had an emergency debit card. He wanted to know why I didn’t offer to use the debit card when our dishwasher was broken. I tried to explain to Jack that I did not know love the dishwasher was something that was important. I can definitely scrub dishes by hand, however I am not going to want to do anything at all if there is not any AC when it’s 90° outside. I am sure Jack will get over his aggravation plus disappointment. If I had paid for the repairs for the dishwasher, then I would not have had any way to pay for the repairs on the a/c.
