Last summer, it seemed like every afternoon brought us some kind of rain. The days when it was drizzly, the adolescents were outside playing a run plus running around in mud puddles, but those days were few. The people I was with and I had downpours, thunder, plus lightning at least twice a week. With all the rain, our creek overflowed its banks, plus it was getting close to the house. I never thought how the ground could have been so saturated from the rain that the creek could really seep in through the walls of the basement. When my partner came loft that afternoon, he went to check the furnace plus found that it was completely immersed in water. The people I was with and I had a basement that was filled with water plus 2 feet from overflowing into the main section of the house! Once the water receded, every one of us called the HVAC dealer.
