In the fall when the weather is cooling off, I love going camping with my family.
We always try to go three or four times a year, and it’s one of the best times of the year, in my opinion. My kids really love fishing and hiking and riding their bikes, but my husband and I love just sitting by the fire and drinking wine coolers. It’s always really nice to go camping and to relax when the weather starts cooling off. The main reason I like going when the weather is cooling off is because the air conditioning in our camper isn’t the best. Last year, we tried to go camping in the summertime and it was pretty miserable. The temperature outside was probably in the high eighties, and without a good air conditioning system in the camper, the inside temperature in there was probably at least ninety degrees! I was pretty miserable in there without air conditioning and I don’t think any of the rest of my family liked it much that week either. That’s when we all decided that weren’t ever going to plan to go camping in the summer again. We made a pact to only go camping once the weather started cooling off every year. And honestly, I’m really glad we all made that decision. Our camper has a really good heating system in it. The heater works much better than the air conditioning does! Besides that, we like the cooler weather anyway. I like sitting by the fireplace at home, but when we are camping I really like sitting out next to the campfire.
