When it rains, the air conditioner quits working.

Over the last 2 weeks, I had noticed that whenever every one of us get of extreme rainstorms, the air conditioner does not work properly. Two days ago, every one of us had a extreme thunderstorm, plus the winds were slanting right into the air conditioner unit. When the AC quit running, I knew there was a big problem, plus I called the HVAC dealer. My partner thought there may be a wire inside that was shorting out when the rain hit the wire. As soon as the rain quit, the HVAC serviceman showed up. He opened up the AC unit, plus my partner was right. There was a loose wire plus the water coming in plus hitting the wire was causing the AC component to stop plus start, or just not run at all. The HVAC tech said that he was correct with the wiring in the air conditioner unit, but he had never seen this style of situation. He had a neighbor who also worked at the HVAC dealer, plus he was the a single who did most of the wiring when the HVAC systems were installed. Once this gentleman showed up at my house, it didn’t take him long to cap off the wire. It sounds funny, but I almost wanted it to rain soon so that I could see if my air conditioner worked the way it was supposed to. It didn’t take long for myself and others to get my wish. The next afternoon, a tropical storm came through plus dumped almost 2 inches on us. My air conditioner never faltered, plus every one of us stayed cool.
