I called for emergency plumbing service when the “water leak” was just a false alarm

But the worst example of this happened when I called for emergency plumbing service on a random Tuesday night because I thought that there was a water leak in our bathroom when I saw a pool of water near our sink

I tend to get particularly clumsy when I’m under a lot of stress and time constraints in our life. I periodically drop glass plates in the sink and have to fish the tiny glass shards out of the teeth of the garbage disposal so its motor doesn’t fry when the people I was with and I use it. Yesterday I was running late for toil and managed to spill pop all over the only shirt I had with me, causing me to turn around and be even later for toil than I was originally. Thankfully our boss was understanding of our situation that day, really because I had signed onto our toil platform before leaving the home and completed a project while I was eating breakfast and drinking a cup of coffee. Sometimes I’ll be so frantic-minded that I’ll think there’s a problem when there isn’t one at all. I thought I was being followed for miles once by a random truck and wondered what I could have done to annoy or anger the person. Eventually after 20 minutes of the person making all of the same turns as me, they turned down a residential street and pulled into their driveway. After traveling miles and thinking that the car behind me was following, it was just a stupid coincidence. But the worst example of this happened when I called for emergency plumbing service on a random Tuesday night because I thought that there was a water leak in our bathroom when I saw a pool of water near our sink. As it turns out, I knocked over a cup of water that had been resting on the countertop. When the plumber was inspecting the water line, I discovered the cup on the floor right next to the supposed “water leak.”
