I have a rigid hiking schedule

For the longest time I had a certainly rigid schedule that involved a bi-weekly hiking regime. I realized that my mental and physical health was positively affected by keeping a strict regimen of going outside and releasing my physical energy. After that discovery, I found myself carving out time to take care of my brain and body on a bi-weekly basis. However, I have realized that the wintertime season does not agree with me, and going out in brutally cold cold temperatures does not have the same beneficial effect on my brain. In fact, that cold air makes me feel like I’m surviving, rather than going for a walk. Still, I do not want to break my routine, on afternoons that the outdoor air temperature is way too low or the wind is brutally cold, I will still go to my preferred hiking venue. However, rather than trudging around in the knee high snow and bracing against the freezing air, I will just sit in my wonderfully hot car for a while. I can still appreciate the sights and sounds of nature from inside my vehicle. However, I do not have to expose myself to the unpleasant temperature 6 hours on end. I can absolutely chill out in the parking lot and look at the gloriously snowy trees without facing the windchill and falling ice that comes with hiking. Best of all, my car has an amazing onboard heating plan that barely requires any fuel at all. The interior of the car is constantly perfectly hot and toasty! My seat heaters do not hurt matters, either. It’s hot air and a hot room, I find that my mental health and physical vitality benefit from just looking at nature, rather than walking in it.
