Today, everywhere has central heating and air conditioning
Back in the day I remember when movie theaters would advertise that they had central heating and air conditioning. Back then this was a big thing! Having central air conditioning in a movie theater was a big selling point because not many movie theaters had central heating and cooling. As a matter of fact, most people at home did not even have central heating and air conditioning either. So when a movie theater would advertise that they had central heating and air conditioning everyone would flock to go to that movie theater. I know back then I went to see some pretty lousy movies just to enjoy their central heating and air conditioning! Especially in the summer time months of the year. I would go to the movies and watch anything just to enjoy the central air conditioning. I had always been sensitive to heat, so having central air conditioning at a time when it was unheard of in your home was the best thing one could experience. I remember sometimes even taking a nap while the movie was running if it was something I had no interest in. I would pay the 4 or 5 bucks in those days just to go in and enjoy the central air conditioning. Things of course have changed since then. Today, everywhere has central heating and air conditioning. And that is a good thing. Heating and air conditioning is what makes this world turn if you want my honest opinion on the subject.
