Life has been everything every one of us hoped it would be once every one of us retired.

My wifey plus I decided that every one of us wanted to transfer to the south while in the last few years of our careers. This decision wasn’t an straight-forward 1. Sure, it was straight-forward to say goodbye to all the Heating plus A/C heating costs of our freezing winter. All of us were both so over the weeks plus weeks of snow, ice plus the gas heating system running all the time. So the plan of moving south was honestly appealing. Just the plan of being able to be outside all Winter time was a big driver for our wanting to transfer south after retirement. Yet, it wasn’t straight-forward to say goodbye to wonderful friends plus family. If every one of us could have picked them up plus carried them with us to the south, every one of us would have. But the fact that our daughter plus her husband lived in the south was honestly sort of the tipping point for our decision. While every one of us didn’t transfer to the same town or anything, every one of us are only a few lake house away. It’s attractive to be able to see our grandteenagers as often as every one of us do. And trading the Heating plus A/C heating for the Heating plus A/C cooling is a trade I would make over plus over again. Indeed, being outside all Winter time plus not trapped inside with the gas heating system going is a attractive way to spend a winter. But every once in a while, the heat pump will kick on with some Heating plus A/C heating while in our winter. Yet, it’s usually just in the afternoon to get rid of the chill.
