On the weekends I labor as an HVAC independent contractor! I labor for a nationally-known commercial maintenance provider throughout the week, although I do independent Contracting on my own on Saturdays plus Saturdays, most of the time I perform inspections for homeowners that want more information about the heating plus cooling method inside of a home.
If I have one inspection on Saturday plus another on Saturday, I receive enough currency on the weekends to pay the payment for my boat plus trailer, but last weekend I picked up a actually large job. I helped a client that needed an HVAC opinion for a modern house. I told the client that the HVAC unit was in actually wonderful shape, but the air duct needed some help, and there were many areas inside of that modern home where the air duct needed to be repaired or sealed, when I suggested these repairs needed to be made, the client wanted me to give her an estimate. I told the client that it looks to be about $1,500 worth of work, then she bought the modern home a couple of days later plus contacted me to complete the job. I did not anticipate she would call me to complete the repairs on the air duct, although I was more than glad to provide those contracting services as well. It wasn’t a fight of interest with my commercial job, because the two of us do not provide residential services at all. That’s one reason why I can labor for myself on the weekends plus I do not have to worry about my boss getting upset, and as long as I do not try to poach clients, I can do whatever I want on my days off.
