My boss sent me and a new guy over to the factory to complete a boiler repair. I didn’t want to get stuck with the new guy, because I knew he was going to weigh me down, but unluckyly, every a single of the service dealers have to work with the guy for a couple of days. This was my chance to track and report on his skills. When the people I was with and I arrived and checked on the boiler, it was easy to see the problem. I told the owner that it would take about an minute to complete the boiler repair. Then I told the new guy that I was going to let him handle everything on his own. I sat back and I watched him work. He had a couple of questions throughout the process, however he did pretty good. He was a bit slower than I would be performing the work, and it took about numerous minutes to complete the boiler service instead of a single. The customer tried to get frustrated and wanted me to lower the bill when it took twice as long to complete the work. The guy was sad because he wanted to go apartment early that afternoon. Both of us did the best possible task to complete the boiler service without making any mistakes. Both of us performed a quality service the first time, so the people I was with and I don’t need to go back and repair mistakes. I apologize for the amount of time that the boiler service took, however I reminded the commercial customer that some Heating and Air Conditioning repairs take longer than others to complete.
