It wasn’t too long ago when my wife was telling me about this free seminar that was coming up.
It was a seminar that discussed how to be a responsible homeowner.
I felt like I was responsible enough, but I figured it couldn’t hurt and my wife wouldn’t quit bothering me about it. So we went to this seminar and it was surprisingly comfortable at the venue with good air quality and the temperature controls settings were just right. The guy started off by asking everybody if we were comfortable. When most everybody agreed that they were, he explained that it was because they had a humidifier working in the venue which allowed for the perfect air quality and ideal temperature control settings. Some people didn’t understand, but he explained that being a good homeowner was to be smart when using your HVAC system. He said with a humidifier, you can lower the temperature control settings and you still feel the ultimate level of comfort. This was actually a pretty good energy saving tip that I was not aware of. We went over how to take proper care of various types of HVAC systems and how important it was for the household. We went over taking good care of the yard, and having professionals check various things like plumbing in the house. It’s also important to observe your home for water leaks when it rains and to fix those problems asap. I actually didn’t think I would learn much of anything from this free seminar, but it was actually very informative.
