I live in a beach house with five guys, then my partner and I have numerous children and they all happened to be boys, however the oldest a single is 15 years old and the youngest is going to be 7 next week.
There is a lot of testosterone in the beach house and occasionally it can be overwhelming! When my partner and the numerous men start playing video games, I usually retreat to the small shed in the backyard.
My partner made the shed into a retreat that is just for me. There are a lot of crafting items in the shed and I also have a doing crafts equipment in the space, i have plenty of light and I even have electricity. My hubby installed surround sound speakers and a redtooth unit that syncs with my cellphone. I also have a 27 inch cable in the corner of the room. The best section about the shed is the mini-chop Heating and Air Conditioning unit. My partner spent all weekend installing the mini-chop Heating and Air Conditioning unit, but he thought it was going to be an easy installation task, especially since the ductless component came with an instructional video; Unblessedly, the installation task turned out to be more complicated than my partner expected, but every time I look at the ductless heating and A/C unit, I think about all of the time and appreciate that he put into making this a special locale for me. It’s nice to have a small, quiet area that is all mine. The kids respect my space too and they never go inside unless they have an invitation.
