Waking up Slowly on a Monday Afternoon

I try not to drink too much coffee in the morning, otherwise I don’t sleep very well at night.

Today is Monday and it is already 2pm and I am still trying to shake the cobwebs from my mind. In the winter I take a cold dip in 55F water for 15 minutes and this does a great job of waking me up, but in the summertime the water is just too warm to do the trick. I sometimes take a cold shower and then run my air conditioning to make it a bit chilly in the flat so it wakes me up. But this can be costly with electric bills so I like to try and wake up naturally by doing some yoga or eating an apple. I have a very efficient HVAC system but I keep my flat pretty cold in the summer so my power bills can be pretty high during the hot months. I may be a bit more tired than normal today because I was playing drums last night till late and my body was pretty tired by the time I got home. I will probably go to the local business today and see if they have any natural herbs for energy as I don’t like taking artificial stimulants. I may play some ball later which usually gets me going but I’ll have to see if anyone is even going out to the beach today to play. If I don’t do that then I will go to the HVAC company and visit my good friend who works there.
