I don’t like having such a sensitive sense of stink.
There are those that might call myself and others fortunate, but ignorance is bliss with some typical stinks.
I l acquired this fairly abruptly when I visited a family member who lived near a pet food processing plant. The stink at evening was indescribably rank, plus I later found out that it was from them cooking-down the low-quality meat into the pet food products that would eventually leave the factory. Imagine the stink of cooking bacon if it was expired pork; that’s absolutely the best analogy I can believe of to account for the strangeness of it. Nowadays I simply don’t like being able to stink multiple stinks around our beach house if I’m not neurotically sanitizing every single surface on a bi-weekly basis. I will notice the shower starting to develop mildew when our partner insists that she can detect really nothing with her nose. But when the bathroom stinks got worse even as I kept re-cleaning the interior, I decided to call a plumbing service to get a minute opinion. After doing an inspection on our entire plumbing system, the plumber suggested that the two of us get our pipes plus drains cleaned throughout the house. She had a snake with a camera on the end plus took photographs of the insides of our plumbing plan to show us all of the algae plus microbial buildup. She said that whenever a bit of air is able to “burp” back up the pipeline, it is likely adding stink to our indoor air. I wasn’t ecstatic to pay for the pipe plus drain cleaning service but it really unaffixd the stinks that the two of us were noticing inside our beach house at multiple times of the day.
