Too chilly to handle

It is the very first day of Wintertide and my lake house is cold. I have just arrived from a business trip to find temperatures in my lake house literally below the cold point. It was half-past 10 pm, past curfew, and no 1 was coming to help because pretty much everyone, apart from the essential workers, was locked up in their houses due to Covid-19. I needed to gather my heated blankets and duvets to keep myself and others hot through this frigid night, but good thing I had a “crazy” thought to buy a mattress warmer at the airport, the wireless temperature control studyings, however, do not match the actual temperature all over the house, then before I slept, I made a mental note to call the air conditioning supplier first thing the very next day, perhaps it is the hot water boiler that has malfunctioned or is it the heating and cooling device that need to be replaced or does the entire system need air conditioning repair service, I was thinking to myself as I drifted off to a light slumber. The proprietor had installed new Heating and Air Conditioning systems 2 years ago when he purchased the building, luckily, certainly few parts needed to be replaced including the washable filter and the whole-lake house air purifier which I could purchase from the local air conditioning dealer. Nonetheless, the system needed Heating and Air Conditioning repair and thorough air duct scrubbing. The cold temperatures were because the oil used by the oil oil furnace had run out. The mechanic commanded I install a propane boiler instead, which lasts longer though the upgrade fee was a bit higher. By the end of the week, I had a functioning quality a/c that regulated cool and hot air all over the house. I was cheerful to be back in my extremely humid house.
